Like everyone else I started modelling around the age of 5 or 6, sitting down Christmas Day to start, and finish my first kit, an Airfix Spitfire. I was instantly hooked and spent most of my childhood building whatever kits our model shops had in stock. After a short break in my teens for the obligatory testosterone fuelled interests, (Ed – Not another one!) I resumed my interest and started to take the hobby ‘seriously’. Although initially being more of a WWII German armour/aircraft moeller I’ve widened my interests of late and will now build almost any genre, providing the scale is sufficient for my eyesight.
When I’m not cutting/gluing/sanding/spraying/inhaling noxious fumes I’m usually found running stupid distances or I’m clad in lycra annoying motorists by just being there (Ed – Get off the road!)
