Started in earnest with cheap Frog & early Airfix kits bought from my local ‘corner shop’ back in the late 60’s & with the help of my Dad built & painted (I say painted, but most of it ended up all over me somewhat) in record time on the dining room table. Once i’d got the hang of it I progressed onto larger scales (as they always looked impressive on the shelf in my bedroom). After a break from modelling for a number of years I returned to modelling with a view to recreating the most accurate & authentic miniatures of the real machines as I possibly could (in fact I’m still learning!).

My main interest is aircraft & mostly WW2 but I dabble in Jets now & again & it has been known the occasional AFV (Ed – Really?!?), but probably not often enough, so I should try harder (as it always said on my school reports!).
