I have been interested in modelling since l was a kid, with a break in between for wine, women and song, then marriage, kids and couldn’t afford it. After a 20 odd year break took the hobby up again by joining IPMS Cleveland. I enjoy WW2 era modelling in all scales.
My modelling skills soon improved after joining the club with the help and advice from members, which is always there when you ask. I’ve been a member for over 20 years and I’m still getting good advice about modelling, whether it’s about best kits, glues, paints or weathering. As always you never stop learning which is what l like about the hobby. It can be frustrating at times when it doesn’t go right or you lose parts to the carpet monster and then you settle down, get your head together and just get on with it.
